Flora Xia is a freelance concept artist who managed to escape her rainy hometown in Canada; she now resides in sunny downtown Los Angeles and recently graduated from ArtCenter College of Design's Entertainment Design program in 2023. She is most inspired by the work of Dieter Rams, Chris Cunningham, Katsuhiro Otomo, and Yoji Shinkawa.
She loves bringing her designs to life in 3D and is constantly learning new software. Currently she is infatuated with the CAD-based modeling program Plasticity and learning how to model procedurally with Blender 4.0's new Geometry Node system. Outside of concept art, she enjoys shredding guitar, going to live shows, and photo-scanning random objects in public.
